Hello various group members,

Apologies if you get this email more than once, but many of you are
subscribed to multiple email services.

grjug users should be migrating from the yahoo group to the jug at gr-jug.org
(i believe Matt has mass added you there, but you need to subscribe there
to start getting emails from it. I suspect we will mass remove the yahoo
list members once the majority of the members have completed their
subscription)

At any rate, the real reason i'm sending this email is to check on the
coding competition. I haven't been able to attend the mtg's lately, and i
haven't even been able to work on my J2ME project. I need to know how
many people are going to have a J2ME project ready to turn in next week.
Please email me personally (do not respond to the group eddress) so i can
tally them, to determine if we have a legitimate competition for the prizes
that have been requested. I suspect we will need to extend the date out a
few months, and get some external help in understanding J2ME development.
(If anyone is aware of a good contact, please refer them to me, and i will
see if we can utilize their expertise via a workshop/presentation).

I will send another email out tomorrow evening based on the responses i
get.
