Hello John,
Welcome to the GR-Jug mailing list. We hope, as we do with all of our
members, that you will share your thoughts and knowledge with our
members. We also hope that one day you might be able to attend our
meetings.
As for Java related work in GR, I am not personally aware of any current
openings. There are a few companies using Java like Gordon Foods and I
think there is some work going on at Alticor (the company previously
known as Amway), a consulting firm called Atomic Object, I think there
are a few others but I can't remember them off the top of my head
(hopefully someone else on the list will expand my list). There doesn't
seem to be a lot of Java development going on in the GR area which could
be why our JUG has been struggling for members and for active
participants (but we are trying).
Once again welcome to the list and we hope to hear from you often.
