WHO: Anyone and everyone in Grand Rapids, MI (and surrounding areas) who
loves design and/or technology
WHEN: A Friday and Saturday in August, probably August 18 & 19
WHERE:	North Hall, Calvin College, Grand Rapids, MI

For those not familiar with the BarCamp concept:

"BarCamp is an ad-hoc gathering born from the desire for people to share
and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with
discussions, demos, and interaction from attendees.

"Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is
welcome and invited to join.

"When you come, be prepared to share with barcampers.
When you leave, be prepared to share it with the world."

Consequently I'm putting two proposals up for vote on the GR-JUG mailing
list:

1) GR-JUG should be the official host organization.

2) BarCampGrandRapids should take place on August 18 & 19, a Friday and
Saturday.

PS - Oh yeah, here's something I forgot.  We're looking for one more
point person to take on marketing (see the task list on the
BarCampGrandRapids wiki).  Even better we'd like to get one other person
willing to take point for Last Minute Emergencies.  Any takers?
